We’re taking it back to the basics to bring you a 6 week series of focused burlesque technique and performance, with combos highlighting essential burlesque dance technique and prop exploration! June 25 - Bump and Grind July 2 - Glove Peel July 9 - Floorwork July 16 - Fan Dance July 23 - Burlesque Improvisation July 30 - Tassel Twirling Dress Code: Wear something you can move in and feel confident in! Clothing appropriate for class includes, but is not limited to: Leggings Shorts Sweatpants Sports Bras Binder Crop Top T-Shirt Leotard Heels Sneakers Comfortable, Close-toed shoes
Cancellation Policy
Student/Performer Guidelines: No touching students, audience members, performers, or staff unless consent has been given All sensitive areas (vulva, penis, testis, nipples) must be covered while in class at all times. Dance/Workout apparel recommended for classes unless otherwise stated. All photos taken containing other performers or staff, both on and off stage, must have consent from these individuals before being sent or posted Any photos containing performers in compromising positions or states of undress must be deleted immediately (check your backgrounds!) No negative body talk about yourself or others Burlesque is art and art is subjective Please refrain from sharing constructive criticism during class, and only ever share if a performer is wanting beneficial critiques Any behavior deemed inappropriate or harmful by the production may result in expulsion from the event. Minor offenses may be given a single warning, while any behavior that threatens the emotional or physical safety of performers or patrons will result in immediate expulsion.
