Service Description

Dip your toe into the sparkly world of burlesque and learn a fun, beginner-friendly dance routine to put your new skills to the test! Beginner Bump and Grind dance skills perfect for budding performers or your next kitchen dance party! Props needed for this routine: Gloves Jacket, Robe, or Shawl Back-Lacing Corset (optional) Tear-Away Button Down Shirt (optional) Back Clasp Bra (optional) Dress Code: Wear something you can move in and feel confident in! Clothing appropriate for class includes, but is not limited to: Leggings Shorts Sweatpants Sports Bras Binder Crop Top T-Shirt Leotard Heels Sneakers Comfortable Shoes Class Pass Types Drop-In Ticket: Just trying out a class but can't commit to coming weekly? A Drop-In Ticket may be for you! Class Pass: Get access to all 6 classes in this series AND online resources to help you practice between classes Community Care Class Pass: Financial Aid, no questions asked! Perfect for students, limited incomes, or those months when you just can't seem to catch a break! Use this pass as often as needed, no questions asked, as part of Speakeasy Revue's mission to make self-expression and community through burlesque more accessible.

Cancellation Policy

Student/Performer Guidelines: No touching students, audience members, performers, or staff unless consent has been given All sensitive areas (vulva, penis, testis, nipples) must be covered while in class at all times. Dance/Workout apparel recommended for classes unless otherwise stated. All photos taken containing other performers or staff, both on and off stage, must have consent from these individuals before being sent or posted Any photos containing performers in compromising positions or states of undress must be deleted immediately (check your backgrounds!) No negative body talk about yourself or others Burlesque is art and art is subjective Please refrain from sharing constructive criticism during class, and only ever share if a performer is wanting beneficial critiques Any behavior deemed inappropriate or harmful by the production may result in expulsion from the event. Minor offenses may be given a single warning, while any behavior that threatens the emotional or physical safety of performers or patrons will result in immediate expulsion.
